Bad Burrito Battle Brawl (coming soon)

Bad Burrito Battle Brawl is a free to play card and dice game with print and play elements that we have been developing since we made our Bad Burrito deck of playing cards.

To setup the game:

  • You will need a deck of playing cards (we recommend the Webb Comics Bad Burrito playing card deck)

  • 20 count - 6-sided dice (10 for each player) You can purchase from amazon in sets of 10 different colors or go to your local drug store or retailer and pick up regular dice.

  • A way to keep track of skill points – this can be pen and paper or we recommend little beads (glass beads can be picked up at any crafting store). IF you are using beads, we would recommend 10 total (5 for each player)

  • Select your brawler: From our website you can either download and print out the brawler character sheets (coming soon) or using your phone or electronic device, access our character select screen and use the online version of our brawlers. CLICK HERE TO SELECT YOUR FIGHTER

Playing the game (high level overview: see rules sheet and tutorial for more information)

The object of the game is over the course of three rounds, deal the most damage you can to your opponent and be declared the winner.

Each round is made up of a few Phases:

  • The first (acquire) phase has each player using dice to acquire playing cards (power cards) from a row of 6 face up cards placed between the two players. Cards are acquired by spending dice from a players dice pool.

  • The Brawl phase happens after players have acquired their cards for that round. Here players can choose to designate cards as attack, defend, reserved (carries over to a later round), or special move.

    • Players compare attack values to their opponent’s defense values (applying special move modifiers), and the difference between attack and defend (if attack is greater) is the damage assigned for that round.

  • Clean up phase has players tracking damage, discarding all cards not reserved for a future round, and beginning the next round of acquiring more cards.

After 3 rounds the player with the most damage loses.

As you acquire face cards, you character will earn skill points.  Skill points can be spent to bump a die total to help acquire a card, re-roll a die, or even by back a spent die.  Acquire 3 skill points and you can flip your brawler to their powered-up side. This allows you to use you character special ability when the time is right.

If you like rolling dice, know how to play war and know little bit about the different poker hands, then we encourage to give this game a try.
