This project was born out of my love of retro video games and the desire to learn how to paint.  As a kid, game boxes were torn open and discarded, instruction manuals were lost between couch cushions, and old school poster were stitched back together with crappy tape.  As a kid I looked past the game art and missed out on a whole bunch.  Now I am revisiting those games, the box art (from different regions), in game cinematics, lost promotional art, and trying to recreate it with these paintings.
